Hi all,

Well, this is the last letter I'll be writing from the Mekong for good. I'll be leaving the Satyr tomorrow morning some time for sure. We were supposed to leave Monday but the Satyr is going to Binh Thuy for a little R and R period and then they are heading back to Long Xuyen. I am already packed and ready to leave. This time tomorrow I'll be in Saigon. My reserved flight is the 16th.

I mailed my sea bag and the picture I bought at Long Xuyen. So they should be getting there about the same time I do. I'll call as soon as I get in the US. Tell Gary that I am going to go ahead and get out of the Navy in T.I. (Treasure Island), California. They have already fixed my orders to get out in T.I.

Well, that is about it for now. This is going to be the last letter I am going to write from Vietnam because I'll be in the states by the time this gets to you all anyway. So that is about it for now. I'll be seeing you all in a few days now.

P.S. I didn't mail Dr. Wright's letter, but tell him I have already bought his camera and I'll have it with me. I'll deliver it to him personally. Only one thing. It ran 15 more dollars than I said it would. It cost 115 dollars so I went ahead and paid the difference.
